Fauci Book
*this is an edited version of a question I posted last night. My dad gave me a copy of a book called "The Real Anthony Fauci". Some of the claims it makes and people it cites seem pretty sketchy. I was wondering if either of you have read it or have any thoughts on it. Please note my dad is prone to believe conspiracy theories that fit his priors... (it's kinda gone downhill lately)
Union participation falling
On Thursday Krystal talked about Intel investing in a chip plant in Ohio, and how that was good because those would all be union jobs. Union density dropped last year, despite all these supposed gains for Unions around the country. Do you think Union membership dropped last year, due to the fact the unions did nothing to fight for members with the vax mandates ? I live in Washington (state) and have been a union member for 15 years. I quit the union with 20 other guys, out of a 140 man workforce, because our union leadership refused to fight for us. I've been to union rah-rah events and heard about all the horrors of Republicans and how bad they are for the "working man". Washington has been under deep blue leadership since the early 1980s, Democrats in 2021 are responsible for more job losses and attacks against the workforce than the entirety of Republican actions throughout Washington (state) history.

Did you guys watch the antiwork Reddit mod’s interview on Fox News? Knowing Saagar is a Redditor, thought you may have thoughts on the interview and the subsequent implosion of the subreddit. Super sad to see a pro labor community of 1.7 million go up in smoke overnight
Real Anthony Fauci
Re: previous poster. This book helped me understand why at-home treatments of Covid were suppressed, because vaccines can't qualify for Emergency Use Authorization if there is an effective treatment for a disease. Basically the medical community as a whole has been taught to believe that vaccines are the only effective solution to a pandemic, and so anything that could impeded EUA was considered bad and suppressed.
