Canadian Truck convoy - ConvoyforFreedom2022

I've been following Convoyforfreedom2022 on Insta and it has been amazing to say the least. It's everything I had hoped America would have been in regards to all these crazy mandates and vax passports (my 5 year old can't eat inside in Philly). There are thousands of people lined on roads waiving at a 50 mile long convoy in Canadian winter. The GoFund me has raised $5m. Conveniently Trudeau has to isolate starting today with Covid. What are your thoughts on this?

Cuban Vaccine - Trump

Krystal brought up on today's episode how it will likely be Cuba that will vaccinated the rest of the undeveloped world. It made me think if this would happen with Trump in office. Everyone knows the guy has an incredibly inflated ego. However, that can sometimes be put to good use, similar to how he made these companies develop the vaccine as quickly as possible. I feel that all we needed was someone to mention that giving the vaccine to the rest of the world would make him look like a savior. Once he would hear that he'd ensure everyone in the world (except for China given his reputation) would get a vaccine. My question boils down to how do you think the worldwide distribution of the vaccine would have gone if Trump was still in office?

Krystal’s loss in her 2010 House race

Krystal, you mentioned getting obliterated in your 2010 House race against Rob Wittman. Looking back, how realistic of a chance did you think you had of unseating him? Or did you sort of know that you were playing the role of the “designated loser”, kind of like the Washington Generals who have to lose to the Harlem Globetrotters every night?

Giving up nuclear power is "idiotic"?

C'mon Saagar. There are very sound reasons for moving away from nuclear power. It is the most expensive and most dangerous way to boil water ever conceived of by humankind. It is no way a solution to climate change since plants cannot be built fast enough or economically enough to make a difference. Furthermore, money devoted to building nuclear plants is money that would be money much better spent on renewables and efficiency which are out competing nuclear power on price, and time to market and have the most potential to make a meaningful impact on climate change in a meaningful time frame. In addition, the nuclear industry has never provided a realistic solution to the problem of radioactive waste. I strongly suggest that you have someone from Beyond Nuclear (https://beyondnuclear.org; a local DC group) or Fairewinds (https://www.fairewinds.org) on your program to present a more balanced view of nuclear power than you have been doing.

War: follow the money & Hillary

- Pelosi and Congress most likely buying IMC stock as we speak. - Hillary has been a huge supporter of war with Russia since her days as Secretary of State. Would be possible to investigate these fronts?
