Speculating on Donor Class Objectives
Is it the goal of the Donor Class to clog-up both the news media, and political systems, in order to step into the void and assert a "Billionaire's Agenda"? If so, how can we best remove this "blood clot" in order to represent the other 99% of the country? (Forbes: All American news media is owned by 15 Billionaire individuals)
Formula, breastfeeding and a systemic failure to support families
It's a ridiculous notion for anybody to say to a parent who is already formula-feeding that they should have just breastfed to begin with. However, don't you think that in addition to pointing out the corruption and malfeasance of this company/industry, it would be an ideal opportunity to address why so many families are reliant on formula to begin with? Yes, formula is sometimes medically necessary and a choice for many. However, lack of paid maternity leave, insufficient access to lactation support, and the absence of supportive work environments often forces families to rely on formula when they may have otherwise preferred or chosen to breastfeed. This just seems to me to be another failure of our government and society to do what it should to ensure the basic needs of its people are met. And clearly demonstrates again that the people don't matter, but dollars do. Could this situation help us to push such policies again?
Student loan forgiveness off table?
Before the leak about Roe v Wade it seemed like Democrats might actually do something with student loan forgiveness to try to encourage younger voters to turn out for the midterms. Since the leak it’s like that conversation has stopped completely. Do you think forgiveness is off the table now that they can use outrage about Roe v Wade to try to drum up votes?
