Orban cpac sowing split Nato Eu

Hi! Love the show, been listening since the hill. I would love for you to bring up this issue, everthing you guys do doesn’t have to be ten minutes, a minute or two on a few more issues is something I’d love to hear. ”Hungarian far-right Prime Minister Viktor Orbán delivered the keynote address Thursday as the American Conservative Political Action Conference — or CPAC — opened its annual conference. The Republican-aligned group chose Budapest, Hungary, for this year’s gathering in order to pay homage to Orbán, a far-right authoritarian who recently won a fourth term in office. Orbán frequently references the same “Great Replacement” ideology cited by the white supremacist shooter who killed 10 people at a supermarket in Buffalo last weekend. In his speech to CPAC, he railed against LGBTQ+ movements and said U.S. conservatives should be prepared to fight over the next presidential election. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán: “Progressive liberals, neo-Marxists dazed by the woke dream, people financed by George Soros and promoters of open societies, they want to annihilate the Western way of life that you and we love so much. … We have to take back the institutions in Washington and Brussels. We must find allies in one another and coordinate the movement of our troops as we face a big test. 2024 will be a decisive year.” Also appearing at CPAC Thursday was Fox News personality Tucker Carlson, who praised Orbán in a prerecorded video. Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, who served under President Trump, is addressing CPAC today.”

Michael Shellenberger

Hey Guys, Just wanted to let you know I love your show and hope you continue to get more followers and recognition. Breaking Points is probably the only outlet I actually trust. One quick question. I've been hearing a lot about Michael Shellenberger running for governor of California, and I have read a couple of his books. He seems to be a good candidate from what I have seen. What are your thoughts on him?

Saagar, the theater kid

Hi Saagar, in your monologue about the ill-fated Disinformation Governance Board and its cringey leader, Mary Poppins wannabe Nina Jankowicz, you mentioned you were a theater kid in high school until you got "mugged by reality." What did you mean by this? As a "theater adult" performing in professional productions who is in love with theater as a storytelling medium, I nevertheless am often uncomfortable with the limited worldview and the particular flavor of wokeness that seems to pervade the theater community. Did that sort of tension play a part in your breakup with theater? Is there still a soft spot in your heart for the stage? Any favorite shows? :) That last question is for Krystal, too! I'm guessing that if her kids were a little too much into Encanto, Frozen etc., those ones aren't on the list! Love everything the two of you do!
