Why am I seeing such little reporting being done regarding the growing issue of elderly individuals being forced out of their houses/apartments due to buildings being flipped and rents being jacked up?

My grandmother is being forced out of her subsidized building she's lived in for 20 years because a real estate developer wants to renovate the building and charge obscene amounts for rent that people on fixed income simply can't afford. She has nowhere to go, the waitlist for finding a place is 6-8 months, maybe longer for places she can afford and yet she has 2 months notice to vacate her current building. How are these people going to be taken care of? Luckily she has a bit of a support system but can you imagine the bullshit of having to move your whole life basically in your 70's with the risk of being homeless and no way to find adequate housing? This country is truly sickening right now.

taxes

Instead of raising taxes in regular people or corporations. Explain to us why we don't tax Super Pacs and Pacs or for that matter the RNC and DNC which seem to be nothing more than money scams? Also why don't we rename fines and penalties to taxes for that is what they really are?
