What is the purpose of Russia targeting civilian areas?
On New Year's Eve, Russia sent missiles into residential or clearly civilian targets. If I were a Russian general, and provided a finite amount of missiles to work with, it would seem a waste of materials and bad strategy to do that, considering all of the military and infrastructure available to target, and plus the resolve and hatred it builds with the Ukrainian people. It just does not add up. Why would Russia continue to do this? Thanks, and my Millennial daughter and I will be seeing you at the Paramount Theater.
