My entire life has been about getting maintaining excellent credit and I have taught my children the same. Now the recent federal rule enforced by the Biden administration will now punish those with good credit and reward those without. Frankly I find that extremely upsetting. Have you covered this topic and if not would you? I feel like the big news only cover sensational items that have little to no impact on our lives. Thanks Heather Zahn

Krystal GPT on the Krystal and RFKjr vaccines discussion

I had ChatGPT put into words how Krystal might address the subscribers concerns about THAT interview in a Krystal-styled monologue and I think it makes sense. Would something similar to this be reasonable for Krystal to say? ..... "Ladies and gentlemen, I want to take a moment to address the reaction we've received regarding my interview with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Breaking Points. The response from our subscribers has been both commendatory and critical, and I appreciate the open dialogue that has ensued. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to all of you who champion the values of honesty and accountability that Breaking Points has become known for. It means a great deal to me that you recognize our commitment to holding politicians accountable, regardless of their political affiliations or views. Your support and trust are invaluable, and I take them to heart as I reflect on our recent interview. However, it's important to acknowledge the disappointment and concerns expressed by those who felt that I mishandled the discussion on vaccines. I understand that some subscribers were particularly troubled by my approach during that segment, and I want to address these concerns head-on. As a journalist, I strive to create an environment of respectful debate and dialogue. It is my intention to provide a platform for diverse perspectives, challenging the status quo and fostering informed discussions. I recognize that the vaccine issue is one that elicits strong emotions, and it is vital to navigate such discussions with care and sensitivity. In light of the feedback received, I understand that some subscribers felt that I may have fallen short in fully exploring the nuances of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s views on vaccines. I apologize if my approach left some of you feeling unheard or excluded from the conversation. It was never my intention to shut down dialogue or undermine the principles of transparency and inclusivity that we hold dear at Breaking Points. I want to assure you all that I value your feedback and take it seriously. It is through your insights and constructive criticism that I can continue to grow and improve as a journalist. I remain committed to the principles of honesty, accountability, and respectful debate that have garnered your trust. Moving forward, I will take this experience as a learning opportunity, striving to strike a balance between accountability and providing a platform for thorough explanations. I will redouble my efforts to ensure that our discussions remain inclusive, respectful, and conducive to a healthy exchange of ideas. Once again, I want to express my gratitude to all of you who have engaged in this dialogue. Your unwavering support, even in times of disappointment, is a testament to the strength of our Breaking Points community. Together, we will continue to seek truth, challenge power, and contribute to a more informed and engaged public discourse. Thank you for your trust, and I look forward to our future conversations and shared journey towards a more accountable and transparent media landscape."

Free-Form Fridays

I liked the subscriber below who mentioned needing more Friday content. Perhaps this would be a great day to air longer discussions and interviews with guests such as Kennedy, Williamson, and others? Also...perhaps Breaking Points needs a message board or subscriber interface?

What’s your ideology?

The show is premised on Krystal providing perspective from “the left” and Saagar from “the right.” I think it’s a lot easier to see the threads Krystal’s progressivism woven into her monologues (ex. Unions, MFA, etc). Saagar has alluded to the fact that people doubt he is really on the right. I also have a harder time seeing conservatism in him (whereas it’s clearer with Emily Jashinski). Could you both spend some time just laying out your ideological differences?

You talk over an over again how we, as subscribers, are in control and we get to hold you accountable for your reporting. There have been more questions about the RFK interview than any other topic by far for the last 10 days. Where is your accountability if you wont even respond to our concerns. Or is this just another media source that says all the right things but doesn't actually mean them?
