Why do you refer to it this way? Haven't voted for Trump before but his plan did give me a 3% income tax break while making around 60k a year. That's 3% lower than 8yrs of Obama. Didn't it also fix the SALT Tax issue too? Love you guys and thanks for all you do!
What is going on with Unity?
So I don’t know if you have seen what is going with Unity but it seems incrediblely shady, filled with private equity greed. As someone who wants to bring light to stories like these, as the gaming industry is seemingly being invaded by wallstreet rejects, and private equity, what is a good way to bring light to these issues? Either as a journalist or some other way?
Thoughts on the "Our Common Purpose" Report?
Hello Krystal and Saagar! Long-time viewer of your show since your early days at Rising. I recently watched a PBS NewsHour piece on political theorist, Danielle Allen, who co-chaired a report titled "Our Common Purpose: Reinventing American Democracy for the 21st Century" with the aim of making democratic governance work again for the American people. For me, many of their ideas and strategies sound interesting and grounded in a feasible way. If either of you are familiar with the report and any of the thirty-one recommendations made within it, I'm interested to hear your thoughts on their more fascinating ideas: like reintroducing Multi-Member House Districts, Voting pre-registration for 16 and 17-year-olds with paid voter orientation, implementing a Universal Voting mandate while making it easier to vote nationwide, taxing internet ads to fund local investigative journalism, and establishing a public-interest mandate for social media platforms as was done with both radio and TV before? Regardless, I'm grateful for your work and passion as independent journalists and political analysts!
