Southwest Airlines

Big misstatement saying Southwest is shitty airline, Krystal. They’re #4 on Travel + Leisure’s 2021 Top 5 Domestic Airlines and as a Dallas resident, a favorite of mine because of the fun, happy people who work there. No sourpuss flight attendants or gate agents there! This recent whatever-is-happening isn’t indicative of this superb airline’s reputation. My question—will you make a retraction?

Healthcare workers

This is less of a question and more of an observation. My husband is a nurse. Most nurses I know have brought up the fact that they are able to take up travel nursing gigs that pay upwards of $6K a week. A nurse manager I know was incredibly confused about how young nurses would get up and leave their stable jobs to travel. To me it’s a clear failure of our economic system in this country. People would feel less inclined to jump at a big money gig if they didn’t feel like they needed to make as much money as possible. Millennial nurses have debt. Some a lot of debt. Many unmarried and frankly nurses only make great money in metropolitan areas. I would love to see a story on this. 😉

"Democratic" Primary

Do you honestly believe Joe Biden won the Primary and Election on his own merits?

Request to improve show notes?

Hey breaking points team! I love everything and am stoked that prem subs are finally available e on spotify! One request tho, I would love to have links to the cited news articles embedded in the show notes. Often while listening I wish to dig deeper but cant find the article cited for myself. Perhaps, the links could go along with a more detailed rundown of the episode breakdown in the corresponding segment section with time codes. Im sure the shownotes UI for different platform vary widely but it would be a much welcomed feature! Much love, Spencer

Will You Ever Consider Dr. Michael Greger for the Long Form Interview?

I watched Krystal’s monologue about snake oil “womb therapy” and the discussions that followed and couldn’t help but connect her talking points to what Dr. Greger has been espousing over the last decade. It seems like they - Saagar included, based upon his input - could have a very interesting and informative conversation about the supplement industry. Would you consider having him on as a guest?
