The Fed

Should the Federal Reserve be nationalized, or should currency be issued by the Treasury as it once was?

1/11 DISASTER for Dems Across 3 Congressional Hearings/Events; Can They Recover Ever?

General societal and political environment does not bode well for Dems in the midterms and beyond. Societal disruptions from Dem COVID measures are exacting an extreme toll from even their most diehard constituents (shocking article in the Atlantic on school closures https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2022/01/democrats-botched-public-school-covid-policy/621183/). It seems on every societal "culture war" issue the Dems are so detached from reality that they are at risk of losing significant chunks of loyal voters forever (like the author of the Atlantic article, they might not vote Republican, they will do what Dems do and just not vote). Even if the Dems were not repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot with unforced errors, the general economic uncertainty of the COVID recovery would not bode well for them in the midterms. Just when I thought it could not possibly get worse, today on 1/11 they were dealt three massive blows that will lead to additional investigations and in some instances it looks like resignations from Biden cabinet-level members is in order. 1.) 1/6 questions by Ted Cruz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZQRetozhSY. Other Republicans asked similar questions and you have covered this on BP multiple times, but this is one of the first times the same questions on data that has been available for 6-8 months were asked in a very public manner in Congress. The responses by the FBI and DOJ were extremely concerning and the ridiculous response from the 1/6 committee on Twitter raises even more red flags https://twitter.com/January6thCmte/status/1481007562187280387. This leads to all other material unanswered questions from 1/6 that the 1/6 kangaroo court refuses to investigate: i) who planted the pipe bombs?; ii) why does Pelosi refuse to turn over security documents for the failure of adequate security; iii) what was the involvement of the FBI in encouraging the riot. Do you believe that either with Republican control of the house in 2023 the actual work of answering these questions will be done, or will these be addressed sooner than that do to continued public pressure on the circus that is the 1/6 committee? - Public Health Officials Senate Hearing: Rand Paul laid into Fauci and with additional emails being released on the lab leak cover up (alot of this known to people following Greenwald reporting https://greenwald.substack.com/p/to-deny-the-lab-leak-covid-theory), but all the GOP senators laid into Fauci and it seems like the MS consensus is turning, especially with the pressure of the Jim Jordan letter sent today https://republicans-oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Letter-Re.-Feb-1-Emails-011122.pdf). Do you believe Fauci will be fired or resign prior to the GOP investigating the multiple coverups (likely in 2023 with control of Congress - I would expect scorched earth on Fauci from all the people he demeaned as "fringe conspiracy" theorists since the start of COVID? - Education Secretary Influencing NSBA Memo: https://www.thedickinsonpress.com/opinion/7345886-Port-There-need-to-be-resignations-from-the-Biden-administration-over-this. This is the most absurd story to break today that directly impacts parents who are rising up en masse across the country to fight school boards. Taibbi's https://taibbi.substack.com/p/the-democrats-education-lunacies summarizes this perfectly that Dems are doomed if they continue on the current path with education... Now this breaks that the insanity of the NSBA memo was all planted by the Biden administration??? If true then the Dickinson Press editorial is right, Miguel Cardona at least needs to resign or I honestly think the GOP will impeach him for this for culture war points (if that happens it could spill over to capture Garland and maybe even Biden). Going after parents by labeling them "domestic terrorists" was the most insane political move the Dems could have ever pursued, especially since most of the people protesting weren't angry about CRT they were pissed about school closures by unions. Do you think that this is a political thermonuclear bomb for the Dems right now? I honestly believe that we will see a Republican supermajority in the House this year, 60 senate seats Republican, and massive wins at state and local levels similar to 2021 (Edward Durr, Youngkin, NJ almost upset, etc. - https://gop.com/rapid-response/the-red-wave-was-everywhere/). I do not believe the Dems realize how pissed people are at them. God even David Shor's model for Senate seats in 2022 didnt have an options for Dems getting below 50% of the popular vote......... Even at 50% he is predicting a massacre in 2022 and further bloodbath in 2024!!!!!!! If the Dems do not completely eject the progressive wing of the party from the national conversation (which will never happen) they might not be in control of national or most state politics for the next couple of decades. This sounds dire, but COVID is the most significant even to happen to U.S. since WWII and Dems are making lifelong political enemies out of large swaths of the voters. All the GOP has to do is sound somewhat reasonable and keep Trump pretty much away and they win in landslides. Curious to hear your takes on the above and if this is overreaction, but this looks like the end of the Democratic party and I do not know what will replace it?

Covid or other virus

What happens to virus results from all other virus NOT ALL RESULTS CAN POSSIBLY BE A COVID?

Vaxxed vs. Unvaxxed Data

Do you remember last summer how easy it was to obtain vaccinated versus unvaccinated deaths and hospitalization data? Mind you this was when the majority of the country was unvaccinated and the data was heavily skewed in favor of vaccines. Do you not find it suspicious at all that this information is nearly impossible to find now?

Media Phrasing

The discussion about the terrorists labeling and Dr Fauci hearing got me thinking. Does the media use inflammatory language to often? Labeling people as terrorists or framing Fauci as a demon who's evil has broken our ability to have actual conversations. Fauci is still a person who's now getting credible death threats because of the over the top language used by the media including Saagar.
