Suggestion for dealing with abortion issue
I am pro-life and totally get there is controversy on this issue but as you cover it , would it be possible for you guys to deal with it with more gravitas. The levity given the issue and Krystal saying things like a person wishing to pursue the abortion might say to herself "I better get this shit done now" in light of scotus leak on roe being overturned. Please more gravitas on this issue given what it means.
Baby formula
I’m surprised that you didn’t even mention that baby formula is used in many communities and countries to trap pour people into buying something that is unnecessary in most cases. I understand that some mothers can’t produce enough milk to feed their babies, and my sister was one of them, so are forced to use formula. However, the majority women in the world, are able to nurse, and supply plenty of and better nutrition for their babies, by doing so. We should concentrate on educating woman and giving them better nutrition, so they can feed their babies, themselves. Thanks for informing me every day. 😀A lifetime supporter, Gaby
Establishment blackmailing of leftists
As you guys may have painfully realized, the "squad" and other progressives have been dismal failures when it comes to challenging the Democratic Party to materially help the working class of America, e.g. forcing the vote for M4A, passing the original BBB, etc. To be honest I find it hard to believe that they are simply afraid of getting trashed by the corporate media or being denied 'leadership' positions that ultimately don't mean anything; call me naive but I have more faith in them than that. Nobody, and I mean nobody, talks about this but I've always suspected that the establishment is either explicitly or implicitly blackmailing them by making threats ranging anywhere from sending literal hitmen to ruining them or their loved ones financially (perhaps that's why the NSA and FBI are so bent on collecting the private data of millions of Americans--so they can make threats and silence ANYONE who tries to challenge power). Am I being crazy or do you think I'm on to something here?
Public Utilities Unions Negotiating Power
Hi K&S, I have recently become a member of a union that works with the local water company. Due to the nature of our job, we have a no-strike clause in our CBA. What, if any, power do organized unions hold against management if we can not truly take a stand against them during negotiations? It seems every year we are forced to either accept a less than ideal COLA, or give up something that has previously bargained for in order to achieve our goals? I enjoy all the Union coverage, but feel like I am at a crossroads in my stance on advocacy. Thanks
