Is there any traction on the state or federal level to pass legislation to the slow or stop the flood of permanent capital buying up houses. I’m 29 years old and this is by far the thing that scares me the most politically in this country. What can/should millennials and zoomers do to make this problem a bigger concern for our elected officials before we are all doomed to live under corporate landlords forever? Love you guys.
I am in K-12 education. Over the past school year, I have heard the term “arrested development” used often. School districts across the country are dealing with academic, social, and emotional developmental days on a scale never seen before. Cases of depression, truancy, and violence are at record levels. Over the past few weeks, the awful events have made me worry that we are only beginning to see the dreadful ramifications of locking students down for the past 18+ months. Will any state or federal government leadership ever be held to account for the terrible decisions to close public schools?
