New Speaker

Last week, Kevin McCarthy was the bogeyman to the Left, taking short term pressure off Elon Musk, McConnell, and DeSantis. The Left asks: How can Republicans be so wasteful of government time requiring 15 separate ballots to pick McCarthy? Was impeaching Trump twice, a great use of government time, knowing they had nowhere near 67 Senate votes?

Speaker vote

What's the deal with everyone trashing the Force the Vote movement in 2021? Where did people get the idea that Kevin McCarthy would have become Speaker if they didn't vote for Nancy? Why do people refuse to see that OAC was advocating the same thing when she was running for office? Where do some people get the idea that if the Squad had done what the Republicans just did, they would have somehow been in a WEAKER position? How do you get weaker from uniting your strength? Do these moronic people think it's okay that our "leaders" are spineless blobs of gelatinous mass? Do they realize that they are NOT fighting for us as they make excuses for them not doing what they were elected to do? I know that's a lot of questions, but I really need to know your take on this so I can decide if there are any intelligent people left in this hell hole.

How can we get more accurate information to people about their food?

Saagar -- I love the topic you've recently raised about misinformation when it comes to food, diet and health issues. I have a public relations firm in California and am fortunate enough to work mainly with farmers of fruits and vegetables. Farmers have traditionally turned to legacy media to tell their stories, and, of course, we now also utilize social media. However, I believe this important topic deserves to be covered by independent media outlets like yours who are willing to examine the complexities of food production and to present all sides. But we struggle with the best way to reach people like you who are likely hesitant to utilize traditional public relations firms like mine. What do you think is the best way to get accurate information about food and farming to journalists today?

Krystal, can you please let Saagar finish a fucking thought before you interrupt him? XO

Krystal & Saagar's Debate on immigration

Your debate on immigration was very good, my criticism is that Saagar needs to stand his ground more with you Krystal. Have you ever read Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor who taught at University of Edinburgh in 1887? His premiss is "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government." Tyler's definition of democratic societies is they follow/progress through the same sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From great courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.
