Isn't Ukraine more fundamental than Afghanistan/Iraq/Syria?
It seems like you both talk about Ukraine like it's just another war. It's my understanding that the only real adversary that could overmatch the US would be an industrialized Germany united with Russian resources. US strategic policy has reflected this for a century; our isolationism has always been broken whenever it looks like one power could control both countries. This makes stopping Russia in Ukraine squarely in our best interests, far more than Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria ever were. Do you disagree, and why?

can you two tap your sources on the hill / wall st / ivy league and find out what the consensus is on svb among America’s ruling class? I’m really concerned this is 2008 2.0 svb wasn’t some little bank in a town of 200,000. it was a top 20 that did what they all did: load up on cheap commercial paper to secure their books. I really need a trust worthy media outlet that can make sense of this. i’m really scared and all the corporate press is acting like it’s all cool. but even as the hacks on cnbc do damage control you can see the dread on their faces.
