Seeing as you guys talk a lot about the issues with centralized corporate controlled social media and censorship, I was wondering if you all have been following the development of BlueSky, and what your thoughts are on the platform. Seems like they might be able to thread the needle between an open structure without the pitfalls of a fully non-profit model like Mastadon (or the Fediverse in general). I know Saagar is a proponent of Signal and Protonmail, so likely understands the value of embedding free speech into tech with open universal protocols, instead of proprietary blackbox software. I planned to ask this earlier after reading a recent Intercept article on the platform. Then you guys announced your interview with Jack Dorsey (lead figure in developing BlyeSky). I really hope you get to ask him about it in the interview.
I was looking all day Friday for content about the indictment. Nothing in my inbox, nothing in my premium RSS. Found out today yall posted it to YouTube without even telling subcribers. It seems others had the same experience based on the recent question asking why there was no coverage (there was, we just didn't know). So why the snub to your premiums subs you claim so much to love?
