Mock Primary & Election Debates
Would you be interested in sponsoring Mock/Real Debates? Maybe even in conjunction with your previous station or with the blessing of the league of women voters who vet your answers? Marianne Williamson might show up on person, but for those that don't you could have unknown stand-ins that resemble the candidates. You both ask the questions. After each answers, another explainer commentator flashes on with what that answer means in "real speak" (practicality, effectiveness vs political whitewash, likelihood of passing, cost, and a score, say 1-5 or 1-10. Totals and summarizes all at the end. Release the score to the public and mainstream press.) If too much info for one session, break it up into 4 debates, one on each major topic. Or if still too big, use the format but parse the answers from the candidate's comment from what they said at the major station. Keep it unbiased but factual, especially about effectiveness of the solution and the cost. (both-out of-pocket real cost AND cost NOT to do it.
New set reveal
Hey guys! I watched the exclusive reveal of the new set and I love how giddy and excited you both were. It made me curious, were you just stoked to have the cool new set? Or were you extra excited about showing it off to your premium subs? You've both stated many times that you work a little extra hard because of the fact that you're funded directly by us and not some corporation trying to sell hemorrhoid cream. Delta flights + Spotify + Breaking Points = PLEASE!
I'm just got off a Delta flight from SLC to San Diego and my flight would have been so much better if Breaking Points had been one of the available options in the onboard Delta/Spotify app. If The Last Podcast on the Left can make it into the list of options, surely the BP crew can negotiate their way in, too. Love the show, looking forward to seeing the new studio as soon as I hit send on this AMA.
