Ask a question

Can you explain to me how selling of personal data will interact with the dystopian abortion laws.

It seems to me that soon laws will be in place that stop the sale of abortion pills through the mail/internet. Also, information regarding abortion will be tracked by third parties, or even first parties and sold/sent to law enforcement to be used as evidence of abortion crime. Is there any recourse/solution to living in this society of big brother, snitch on your neighbor for profit, police state that we seem destined to achieve. God help us all.....No wait...that's part of the problem.

European contributions to NATO

Saager, I generally agree with your view that Europe should pay more toward the maintenance of NATO. However, are you aware that for most of the 20th Century, only the United States was debt free, in terms of the 1st and 2nd World War? (For example, Britain did not pay finish paying its Great War debts to the USA until 2015?) Most of Europe owed debts to the USA, including Germany, throughout the 20th Century. So, could one argue that up until recently, post 20th Century, the US took payments on European debts, and turned around and used those payments to pay for NATO? Indeed, was NATO designed to insure that its World War debts would be repaid? (As opposed to being dominated by the USSR, with European debts to the U.S. being cancelled by USSR friendly nations?

Sound Suggestion, not a question

When your guests are talking, if you're going to type on your laptop, you should mute your mic. It's kind of distracting hearing the click-clack-click of the keyboard while a guest is going through an explanation and it happens during nearly every episode.

Is there any positive news?

Someone asked this about a year ago but worth asking again. I love your show but would say I always end an episode either enraged or depressed at how our country or the world is falling apart. Can you discuss whether this truly is the state of things, or whether it would be worth highlighting more positive news that you can analyze with the audience?

EPA vs West Virginia

Why haven't you covered maybe the story of EPA vs West Virginia? We know Congress does not like to many any hard decision or laws?
