Hello Breakingpoonts

Hey love your show been a good help. Any chance you could cover the trucking protest in Canada no one is covering as far as I know this far. Thanks for considering. You all do great work keep it going.

Freedom Convoy & Defeat the Mandates DC

Hi K & S - I’d love to hear some coverage of the massive working class participation in the trucker’s Freedom Convoy going on in Canada & the US this week. Not a damn word has been spoken in the corporate media. Additionally, I’d love to hear more about Defeat the Mandates DC, which has also been silenced, save a few hit pieces on RFK Jr. I know these causes don’t align with your incessant push for vaccination, but they are examples of workers and citizens taking a stand for their rights. (In this case, the right to bodily autonomy.) Keep up the good work!! Thanks guys!

YouTube is monetizing corporate media off of your demonetized tails!

K&S, Longtime watcher, Lifetime subscriber here, I watch every episode at release on YouTube and almost zero other political content on the platform. 99% of my viewing is engineering and other nerdy videos. Anyways, while you guys are showing how they demonetize Breaking Points because the donor/corporate class hates you, they are cramming my suggestion feed with links to other corporate news political videos. I am talking every corporate and deep state talking point you two rip apart being mass sprayed into my feed. No matter how many times I click the "I'm not interested" button, it just seems to keep coming back. Coincidence? They wouldn't steal from you to give to MSNBC/CNN/FOX/ABC by trying to divert your viewers right? I wonder if other Breaking Points YouTube viewers are seeing the same network effects?

Double standards in professional attire

Thank you for the work you guys do. Krystal, you are always looking stylish and I feel like you never repeat the same outfit twice….Saagar always looks great in his suit but I definitely see things being repeated (no offense and nothing wrong with that)….is this a personal choice or do you feel pressured to do so because women are unfairly held to a different standard than guys especially in media?

Good Faith Criticism on the ThedaCare Story

Hello Krystal and Saagar, I'd like to offer some good faith criticism on your coverage of the ThedaCare lawsuit where a county judge blocked health care workers from moving to better jobs. I'm not trying to trip either of you up here, I'm a huge fan of the show and just want to bring this to your attention. From what I understand (and it has been really difficult to find the primary sources for this) ThedaCare filed suit on Thursday the 20th and immediately asked for the temporary restraining order (TRO)(1). One legal analyst (2) said that these kinds of orders are usually granted by courts to "pause" things while the courts sort it out. And that while the TRO ThedaCare requested was for 90 days, the judge ordered both parties to try and sort it out over the weekend and said that he would reexamine the TRO on Monday. On Monday, the judge dismissed the TRO and chastised ThedaCare for doing all this(3). There's also a note in the article that the health care workers will be compensated for their lost wages Monday by ThedaCare and at their new, higher salaries. I think that was probably court ordered, but I don't have any source to back that up. Lastly, looking at the TRO itself (4), it looks like the judge was ordering Ascension to either make the health care workers available to ThedaCare or not hire them. I think option 1 means that the health care workers would work for Ascension at their higher salaries, but need to be on-call to go work at ThedaCare. If true, this is very different from the widely reported idea that the judge was forcing the health care workers to stay at their old jobs. I'm not posting this to rub it in your faces or get you to admit that you were wrong. I really appreciated your criticism of the corporate media's analysis of the Rittenhouse trial and how they should have done a better analysis of the specific details of Wisconsin law to prepare their audiences for the verdict. That's why I wrote this post. I also appreciate how difficult it is to do research on this stuff. I spent a couple hours digging into this and I'm still missing facts. Some of my facts might even contradict each other. But mainly, I worry that stories like these easily become outrage porn and if we don't follow up on them then people think everything is broken and there's no way to fix it. In this case, I think everything worked out OK. Yes ThedaCare abused the court system, and the judge honestly should have never issued that TRO, but those health care workers were ultimately allowed to start work at Ascension just 5 days after the suit was filed. That part of the story shows that some parts of our system work. Much love from me, you are still my best source for news. 1: https://wcca.wicourts.gov/caseDetail.html?caseNo=2022CV000068&countyNo=44&index=0#records 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QE5mV5V-pHs 3: https://www.postcrescent.com/story/news/2022/01/24/thedacare-ascension-court-over-health-care-worker-employment/6635683001/ 4: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21185437-2022cv000068-tro4317792
