Fentanyl

Hey K&S - long time fan since the hill. A childhood friend of mine passed away this weekend from fentanyl spiked heroin. I’m 26 years old, and he is the 3rd friend I’ve seen die from it. I believe the current estimate is 180 people die every day from a fentanyl overdose. Is there anything at all being done to avert this crisis? I feel like we’re dealing with Oxy all over again, and it will take a decade to have any sort of government response while millions die. Side comment for Saagar - my friends wanted heroin, not fentanyl. If there was a legal way to purchase it they would have done it. I wonder how many more will die because we can’t accept the taboo of legalized drugs.

Windmill Construction Carbon Footprint

Saagar, do you know if anyone has calculated how long it takes a modern windmill to break even on carbon savings compared to a gas-fired plant? I was surprised to learn about the amount of carbon emissions in the mining, smelting, transporting (to China), and refining of the minerals used in building the wind farms. This contains a qualitative listing, but lacks numbers. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2022/09/reality-bites-wind.php

Celebrity Union

Krystal, With celebrities doing their best to appear people of the people, what can be done to get them to endorse and embrace unions?

European / Russian revolving door

Dear Krystal and Saagar, love your show. Us premium subscribers got your back! As you often denounce the revolving door in the U.S. government, I have another example to submit you: European former leaders finding cushy jobs on the board of large Russian companies (e.g. ex-German chancellor Gerhard Schröder, ex-French prime minister François Fillon, etc.). What is your thought on these?

Understanding Bills

Krystal, I was watching your stock ban segment, and I wanted to ask a question, as you ran for congress. If you are a congress person, how would you go about getting your legal analysis of these bills, and make sure you are voting for what you want? Do some politicians really not know what's in these bills when they vote for them, or is it just a convenient excuse? Thank you, Ed.
