Hey, where does the money go when I buy a ticket to the live show? Again, sounding like a broken record, but listening to the cast of the AMAs live nearly did me in. Not being able to be there, yet I couldn't even give my second row tickets away. It made me sad. Not a waste, as I hope that the proceeds from the ticket sales are put to good use. Adam from Toronto
When y’all reference surveys and/or polls and state, “60% of Americans believe…” who and how are they polling? Because I’ve never been asked what I believe, want, etc. but apparently these surveys/polls are used to measure the climate amongst Americans. When I hear these polls I’m always like, “60% of what Americans?” Thank y’all! Your friend in the army.
I see crossover in just about every other outlet. KKF interviews each of the Chapo guys, Breaking Points talks to Jacobin people, Hasan Piker goes on other shows, etc etc, but I never see BTC anywhere but his own channel. Is there a reason for that?
So, I notice polling data is used a lot in this show. The issue I see is that these polls come from the very "news" outlets that we all claim to not have our best interests at heart. I love the content of the show, however, sometimes I feel like it's more of a "poll reaction" show than anything. My only other gripe is that over my ~year of listening to you guys I've noticed a trend. Saagar always calls out Republicans when they're too far to the right and Krystal always calls out Dems if they're not left enough. I believe this results in an overall, slightly left-leaning show because you both pull to the left. Saagar himself admitted he's a "barstool Conservative". I just thought it might be something to think about, again overall, I love the show and appreciate what you are doing.
