Polling the Pointers

Have you ever thought of asking your audience to verify their ID and starting to poll? You have mentioned you don’t know your audience demographics but would bet they would be willing to participate if you asked and learn a lot from it.

Segment Topic

I would love both of your takes on this article. It covers so many central topics and core concerns of your show: Healthcare malfeasance, corporate greed, working class woes https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/24/business/nonprofit-hospitals-poor-patients.html?auth=login-google1tap&login=google1tap

How far is too far?

Hi K&S, love the show, thanks for all you do in challenging the corporate media norms. I've always considered myself a classical liberal, but modern liberalism makes me want to stay as far away from that "L word" as possible. What was formerly "Live and let live" has turned into "Believe in everything I believe in or else, and rely on the government to coddle and tax me." Saagar, this one's for Krystal (but for the record, I like you're coming from with Barstool Conservativism). Krystal, as someone who leans left, what are areas where you feel liberals/progressives have gone too far? Are there areas where the left should have stopped when they were ahead instead of continuing to push more conservative-leaning ideologies off a ledge?

Debate impacts

Hey K&S, Loved seeing y’all in Atlanta, the show was great and loved what y’all are building! Saager, you’ve mentioned a couple times recently that debates don’t matter. You’ve claimed that there is no statistical proof that debates influence elections. Could you elaborate on that? Im skeptical because I believe the debates played a significant role in the Ossoff and Purdue debates. Purdue refused to even show up so Ossoff stood on the debate stage and roasted an empty podium for 15 mins. It was the nail in the coffin for convincing conservative friends and family to flip their Vote. I’d love to know where I can find more on this information or what you and Krystal would prefer as an alternative to debating.

Section 230

Do you feel that service providers such as Microsoft, Google, Cloudflare should be responsible for removing phishing/fraud, viruses for their platforms, given the fact that section 230 makes them immune from liability?
