Why isn't Biden buying oil from Venezuela?
Simpel quest: Why isn't Biden buying oil from Venezuela? Saagar mentioned the oil reserves and dragging the Saudies to DC, to force him to pump more oil. But why aren't they buying oil from Venezuela? Remove the sanctions, and rebuild the venezuelan oil industry and start pumping some oil!
Revive the Middle Class
Hey guys, thanks for the show and your thoughtful contributions. I'm curious, what do both of you think are the chances that the US will find a pathway back to recreating the middle class? Couldn't Biden just mandate a program to be provided by the bailed-out banking industry to give funding to people with entrepreneurial ideas? It might help his tanking approval numbers. I'd also recommend to make sure the application process for the program is not 25 pages long (Maybe make the application process as rigorous as the banks' application for the bailout;0). How about simply submit a business plan worked through with a community college program representative, for instance. Any other brainstorming ideas you think may help revive the middle class? I feel it's a good exercise to think ahead as solution-oriented as possible as so much of the forward prognosis is looking daunting. Thanks, DC
Vaccines and Treatment
Why not keep asking questions about why we only seem to have one prevailing answer (vaccines) to what is happening in the world? Maybe I missed the coverage of other options and need to pay better attention, but shouldn't that be something talked about everyday? (I know Saagar has mentioned his exercise/eating habits) Krystal seems to only push either you vaccinate or screw you and I don't recall much push back from Saagar. (maybe I am incorrect and would happy to be) This mentality will only further galvanize people and create divide. All of this is my dumb opinion obviously... I just think more people would be willing to work together at managing and getting through this if we had more options for people. You obviously cant please everyone, but every additional person reached should help.
