The Age of the Country

With everything going on now you cant help but look back at failed policies that paved the road for the mess we are in. Weather it be democrats or republicans both have polices that ultimately hurt the regular American but enrich their friends or themselves. As a younger person I look back at the older generation and see so many of the insane ideas that they passed and wish we could have avoided some of those decisions entirely. Those same voters are still voting (and surprise surprise those same politicians are still running). How do we reach the older generation (voters and politicians) and help them see that not only do we need new policies for the now but need to correct the old policies of the past?

Mutual companies?

How do you guys feel about pushing companies to become mutual companies? Would it be an approach that US companies would have an open mind to? It’s one way of making the work place more Democratic in my opinion.

Breaking Points Future with Local Content

I've seen Krystal mention that she doesn't like Gov. Polis and says he's a corporate democrat. I live in Colorado, I don't always agree with Polis, but I wouldn't put him on the same level as Hilary Clinton, Kamala Harris, etc. This got me thinking - Breaking Points generally follows national news (which makes sense considering you're both in the D.C. area), are there any long-term thoughts on expanding Breaking Points to cover regional and/or local topics? Would love to see a "Breaking Points Mountain West" mini-show with news regarding states in the region!

Student Debt and tear (tare?) sheets?

Hi Krystal and Saagar — two questions: What's standing in the way of wiping out college and trade school debt? We know it would be an enormous boost politically and pump a lot of money to lif the economy rather than dumping into the black hole of government and bank balance sheets. What are the dark powers or incompetent sources stopping such a simple win? One more — "Let's put up the tear sheet". What's a tear (tare?) sheet? I've only ever listened to the podcast. I don't know what it means.
