"Green" nuclear energy

Dear Saagar and Krystal I’ve written 6 times (2/26/22, 3/4/22, 3/13/22 and 3/17/22, 5/22/22, 6/20,22) about your stance on and support for nuclear energy. How you present an issue is very influential to your audience, even to progressives who have read up on a certain issue. I am wondering if you could send out a nuclear energy survey similar to the one you did when you asked premium subscribers to comment on what are the most important topics they’d like to hear. I remember you both being surprised by the informed audience’s answers. The categories could be 1-5: strongly oppose, somewhat oppose, don’t have enough information, somewhat support, strongly support. I have recommended speakers in my previous suggestions to AMA. Today I’m throwing out another name of an accomplished author from the Post Carbon Institute who happens to live down the way from me, Richard Heinberg. Since we’ve heard both your opinions, Marshall’s segment with a pro-nuclear guest and now today’s guest Madison Hilly who has also thrown her hat in the ring to push nuclear, it only seems fair to have a respected, logical and sensible voice of the cons of nuclear energy. Thank you James Johnson

Water to the west

Another interesting story. Would love to hear your thoughts on this idea. https://www.yahoo.com/news/could-fill-lake-powell-less-113004409.html

Uvalde

Please do a dedicated deep dive into the timeline, events and failures in Uvalde. There have been a lot of updates and having one consolidated update of the events would be helpful

Disband vs defund

On Thursday’s show you mentioned that the Uvalde school police force should be disbanded in response to their failures. Is there a difference between this suggestion and when communities call to defund the police in reaction to abuses by their local departments? How has this tragedy and coverup changed each of your opinions of the police as an institution?

Filibuster-free senate

If the democrats nuke the filibuster to codify abortion rights, how do you expect republicans to act in response the next time they hold majorities in the house, senate, and Oval Office? What would a filibuster-less senate look like?
