Moderation vs. Censorship

Ever since RFK was on Breaking Points I have noticed a change in the attitude of people around the BP community of just more toxicity or language almost aimed at trying to start flame wars and animosity among the community. Maybe this was going on before and I just didn't notice it, maybe its new people brought in because if the interview or maybe it was just current members that just had a switch flick in their heads. Do you think there is ever a point at which moderation should be used to keep a community from devolving into anger and name calling or just plain attempts at sowing chaos and resentment or should this just always fall to free speech and open discussion whatever the consequence. Obviously if rules start being broken that is a different story. This question was mainly influenced by the current state of the Breaking Points subreddit, and the whole internet more broadly. Not sure how much Breaking Points staff pays attention to the subreddit so feel free to answer in a more focused or a more broad way as you see fit. Thank you for all the work you put into the show and for any answer if this gets one.

Jimmy Dore attacks Krystal

Hey guys, Been listening to you all since the Rising days. Also a listener to Krystal, Kyle and Friends. I came across a video where Jimmy Dore accuses Krystal of being pro pharma and pro war and he instantly lost all credibility with me. He did however criticize Krystal for her interview tactics with RFK on vaccines and I did agree that they appeared as “cable news tactics”. Two questions: do you regret the approach to the RFK interview & what is your general approach to being smeared, especially when mixed with a valid criticism.
