Bad followers. What a joke
First the infrastructure bill is a BAD bill, the only reason progressives agreed to it was the get the 3.5 trill BBB passed. Look what happened, decoupled, 1..9 with a tax break for the rich, give me a fucking break, BAD leaders NOT bad followers, we are only bad for following those bad leaders.
Differences of Opinion
Having listened to the show for a while now I noticed that while yall will have minor differences in opinion from time to time, for the most part, it seems that yall are in agreement with one another. I was wondering, is there any particular issue where yall have major, irreconcilable differences with one another? If not, do you think that is emblematic of the state of society writ large? (That is to say mostly in agreement despite relatively minor differences of opinion or ideology)

Lately the topic of manufactured consent has come up and this concept naturally correlates in my mind to many headlines i see in modern day news. First, I think excluding twitter at large from this thought process is important to gain your insight on my question in a deeper, more meaningful way. When the Joe Rogan open letter story first broke I quickly came to the same conclusion as your analysis today outlined that the credentials of the signatures basically delegitimizes the piece. Not to mention the content of the letter had virtually no substance. My thinking is that the letter read as if it was created in order to produce a headline to perpetuate a "the narrative" which was easy for any and all news agencies to pick up and report on. Continue this action and eventually you can manufacture the ban. I have long felt a similar way about the endless "study's show" tag line as well. My questions is where do you think this new method is headed next, how is this not controlled by any journalistic ethics? Great show, thanks for what you do Luke Menton
