Laws allowing nurse practitioners to perform abortions.
Hey Krystal and Saagar, Wanted to discuss recent laws being floated around within states such as California and Connecticut that would expand rights given to nurse practitioners to perform abortions with influx of patients from Roe v Wade being overturned, This has caught the attention of both myself and girlfriend, she is currently a nurse working in a mother baby unit. While we are pro-choice, we both feel this is a lot to ask for a practice that is already vastly under paid, and having seen recent history regarding such incidents as the Radonda Vaught case where hospitals have carelessly thrown their employees under the bus. Pro union but not sure how.
I have an electrical contracting business. I am a union member. I would like to join the Union as a contractor and support my brothers and sisters. The union labor rate is higher than what I charge my customers. I would go out of business if I join the union. how do they expect a small shop (>10) to survive when the union foreman rate is $113.73 per hour in my area.
